Grow Out Of Your Grief, Let’s Heal…
Growing Out of Grief is more than a journal—it's a companion for your healing journey. Filled with comforting scriptures and heartfelt reflections, this journal helps you process your emotions and grow through the pain of loss. Created for those navigating grief, it offers a space to honor your feelings, find hope, and lean into your faith. With each page, you'll discover the strength to heal, embrace your emotions, and grow beyond the sorrow.
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God.
2 Corinthians 1:3-4

If you’re here, it’s likely because you’re walking through the painful journey of grief, and I want you to know—you’re not alone. My life has been a tapestry woven with both heartache and hope, and I’ve felt the deep, aching void of loss more times than I can count.
I was saved at the age of 12, but even before that, I was no stranger to pain. At just four years old, I lost my baby brother—a loss that left a hole in my heart. The years that followed were marked by a series of devastating losses—my mother, father, stepfather (My daddy, the one who was in my life, the one who raised me), and sister—all within nine years. Imagine losing your entire immediate family before you even have the chance to really live your own life. I know what it’s like to feel as though the world is crumbling around you.
In 2023, something unexpected happened—I discovered a paternal sister. That moment was a reminder that even in the darkest times, there is still light to be found. My journey hasn’t been easy. I’ve mourned grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends, and my godfather, Pastor Jeffrey M. Smith, who was the first to guide me in my walk with Christ. Yet, through every tear, every heartbreak, and every loss, my faith in Christ has been my anchor.
Today, I find solace in serving at OMG Ministries in Denver, CO, under the loving guidance of my godmother Pastor Lisa Smith, Apostle Wynona Wright, and Overseer Richard Wright. They’ve been my support system, my family when mine was no longer there. My journey through grief has taught me that while the pain never fully disappears, it’s possible to grow through it—to find strength you never knew you had.
I created Growing Out of Grief as a way to share what I’ve learned, to offer a space where you can pour out your heart, just as I have. This journal is more than just pages and prompts; it’s a companion for those moments when you feel overwhelmed by the weight of your loss. It’s for men, women, boys, and girls—for anyone who needs a safe space to process their grief. With guided prompts and room for free expression, this journal encourages you to focus on the positive moments, even when they seem few and far between.
Psalm 34:18 says, "If your heart is broken, you’ll find God right there; if you’re kicked in the gut, he’ll help you catch your breath." That’s a promise I’ve clung to, and it’s one I hope you’ll hold close as you navigate your own journey. The goal of this journal is simple—to help you grow out of your grief, to find comfort, healing, and the divine support that has carried me through my darkest days.
